I.Safety requirements for protective equipment for the eyes and head
(1)To prevent the hazards of arc welding and spark scalding,a light-shielded lens that meets the operating conditions shall be selected in accordance with the requirements of GB 3609.1"Welding goggles and masks".
(2)There are two types of masks for welders,hand-held and head-mounted.The shells of the mask and helmet should be made of non-flammable or non-flammable insulating materials that are not irritating to the skin.The mask should cover the face and ears.Solid,no light leakage.
(3)Head-mounted masks for various arc welding or ascending welding operations,and the weight should not exceed 560 g.
(4)Auxiliary welders should wear masks and protective glasses that are suitable for shading performance according to the working conditions.
(5)Gas welding and gas cutting operations shall be based on the thickness of welding and cutting workpiece plates,and corresponding protective eyeglass lenses shall be selected.
(6)Welding,cutting preparation,cleaning work,such as grinding welds,welding slag,etc.,should use the slag-resistant glasses that are not easily broken into pieces.
Second,the safety requirements of welders overalls
(1)Welders'overalls should be selected according to the characteristics of welding and cutting work.
(2)Cotton canvas overalls are widely used for general welding and cutting work.The color of work clothes is white.
(3)Gas shielded welding Under the action of ultraviolet rays,there are working clothes made of fabrics such as coarse wool or leather when producing gases such as ozone,so as to prevent the welder from being burned or having an increased body temperature during operation.
